Ayurveda Inspired Morning Routine
Create Meaningful Morning Rituals
Here is a glimpse into my morning routine. Keep in mind, I always ask myself: ‘Is this serving me today?’ before I begin my morning routine. Also some days I have more time and some morning’s I sleep in! Below is a breakdown of my routine.
Bathroom
Brush teeth, tongue scrape, oil pull
Wash face, moisturize face and gua sha
Massage sesame oil into body
Get yoga outfit on
Give cats treats
Put kettle on and make lemon water and tidy kitchen
Pack snacks for daughter
10 minute mediation (I like the Open App), breath work practice (Box breath), yoga practice
Make coffee
Get ready for day!
Some mornings if my muscles are sore, I will take a hot bath. Always listen to what your body needs. Adding onto my routine, I would like to wake earlier and journal. Along with making breakfast in the morning for my family. I will adapt to the make a delicious breakfast for family when we transition to the fall season.
